When an ordinary shirt is washed the cotton fibres swell, change their position and fail to return to their original state during drying. However, with the gentle non-iron finishing process, developed exclusively for Eton (based on a cross linking agent and a catalyst), the fabric acquires a dramatically improved hydrophilic quality, a creaseless look, and the unique luxury feel of Eton fabrics.

Our tailoring experience and expertise comes from being shirtmakers since 1928. To achieve our high standards, only the extra long stable (ELS) cotton is used to produce characteristically superb qualities of workmanship, wearing comfort, durability and care.

This wrinkle-free fabric, present in all Eton Red Ribbon shirts, becomes extraordinarily soft, resulting in easy and simple maintenance.
